Will the T. Rex take on Diabolus in JW?!

So, as the title says, its quite obvious that the Jurassic World Raptors will be used against the D. Rex. However, will the Tyrannosaur? We didn't even get a glimpse of the T. rex, however, its been basically confirmed it will be in JW.

So do you think the King of All Dinosaurs will take on the deadliest Jurassic Park threat ever seen?

I would personally enjoy seeing the Rex just terrorize people for a while, and the D. Rex and T. rex don't even know each other exist. However, when the Raptors fail to contain the Diabolus Rex, they manage to move the Tyrannosaurus to the D. Rex's location and it ends up being an anti-hero, killing it.

Thoughts? Questions? Will the Tyrannosaurus Rex, King of all Dinosaurs, take on the supposed "upgraded version" pf itself? Would you want to see the King show that he still has his throne?

T-Rex White, that actually might be kind of cool, and it could be plausible!

No, I'm just saying why I think D-Rex should kill T-Rex. This is definitely not the same premise for Jack Horner and the whole Spino and JP3 ordeal.

And really? "Everyones favorite dino" KInd of a biased statement, to be honest. Not mad or anything, just saying it's a biased statement.

Rex never was the main aspect.

A link to a topic? So it's not an official rule, just staff said Rex vs Spino related topics will be locked. I know that. Show me something I haven't seen.

Okay, there's no real rule that completely bans the topic, because even if the staff did make that, no one would follow it.

Rex vs Spino always lead to most fighting. Never have I really got into the fighting. Even then, the staff and pretty much everyone else gets annoyed when it gets brought up. Happy, why are you trying to bring Rex vs Spino up again?

^^ exactly. they wanted a new dinosaur to replace tyrannosaurus. is that not the idea you're driving at? exact premise of the 3rd movie. how can you not see that..? biased statement? fine. “the vast majority of the publics favorite carnivorous dino”. is that better?

I'm not trying to bring up Rex vs Spino. I'm just saying, that thing killng Rex was kinda overkill because of various other things the damn thing did throughout that piece of crap labeled JP3.

I know, personally that's what I'd liked to see. If the scene is unbiased and done well in Jurassic World, don't see why people should get mad over it.

Well it was a biased statement. But sure, I guess...

I didn't think JP3 was a piece of crap. Sure it did a shitty job as a sequel for JP, but it had some degree of value- little, but some.

Yes the scene was BS- it was scientifically innacurate, even back then.

I don't think JP3 is a piece of crap either, I was sugar-coating it.

what you aren't getting is the fact that if you ask random people on the street “what's your favorite dinosaur” they'll say tyraannosaurus...stegosaurus...velociraptor..brachiosaurus...triceratops..why? because of JP. or the media. let's face it. alot of people who don't know much on dinosauria...those are their go to. it's not biased at all due primarily to the fact i didn't say its my favorite(it's not). no bias, just a fact.

I guess I see what you mean Carnosaur.

Have to say, sad people don't even want to know the history of our world and what it has in store for us to discover and marvel at...

regardless, nostalgia is something they're aiming for if the trailer is an indication of anything.

I think so, I mean the shot of the JW gates opening was a key factor, in my opinion.

I would love to see the (or one of) the T-rex(es) face off against D-rex.  That is the only carnivore that could (possibly) match D-rex in terms of strength.

I don't know what the outcome will be, so we'll leave that up to the movie when it comes out in June, but the battle cries of both will be off the charts.

Imgaine this:  that iconic T-rex bellow, deep, powerful, and full of fear and adrenaline, vs whatever D-rex will sound like to match (I'm gonna guess a higher-pitched roar, almost a scream).

Well, that escalated quickly. This wasn't exacty about Spino, so let's just drop anything having to do with him.

@Chris Picard, Really?! Will it be an anti-hero scene like in the first movie?!

@Carnosaur and Happy, I agree! It would be quite the freaking battle!

@ Raptor 401, That's kinda insensitive. It is no way a boring animal, no dinosaur is. Popular, yes. Boring no. It is unique and classic all at once. Please don't say offensive thngs like that. However, I think yoour idea would be anti-climatic and sort of leave the T. rex in the blue again. Still an interesting idea!

@Alpha,

Freaking brilliant! Love the scene you set up! Very detailed and most likely accurate to what we will see in the film. You're right about the Rex probably being the only dinosaur able to match the D. Rex's strength. I want to see the Rex kick the D-Rex's (supposed upgraded, better form of the Tyrannosaur itself) ass. THAT would be awesome.

I wasn't trying to be insensitive when I said that. I did say I personally found it a boring animal. Sure, it's unique, but I just find it... boring. Don't know if it's just that I find it plain or maybe the fact that for years it's been everywhere in social media that it got to the point where it got uninteresting. And other dinosaurs, I believe are just cooler than T-Rex. Anklyosaurs and Microraptors for example.

Sorry if I offended anyone, I really wasn't trying to. I just don't have any interest for T-Rex anymore, well as much as I used to.

What I was trying to get at, Tyrant. Honestly I find so many other dinosaurs that I think were cooler than T-Rex.

Just talked to my sister who is too a huge Jurassic Park Fan and loves dinosaurs as well and she even thinks T-Rex is rather a boring animal. Sorry but in my opinion it's just a giant predator with no interesting abilities it seems so far. Now if science discovered that T-Rex could, for example, jump 10 feet in the air, then will I grow more interest in it.

What I'm trying to say is this: there are dozens of dinosaurs that are more interesting and cooler than T-Rex.
