Alternate versions of Jurassic Park.
Action Dinos
MemberCompsognathusDec-15-2021 2:20 PMHi everyone, I'm new to the forum. Honestly, I wasn't sure where to post this specific topic. I don't know if it counts as a Jurassic World merchandise post or a fan art and / or photography sort of thing. Also, I just want to say part of what inspired me to get back into dinosaur movies and collecting dinosaur toys is a real-life Zoo I've been to a few times in my life. It's called Reptile Land and it's in the state of Pennsylvania. I don't know if you've heard of it, but they have all kinds of reptiles as well as some birds. They also have animatronic dinosaurs in an area of the park that lets you get pretty close to them. Thought I'd share that in case any Jurassic Park fans want to visit a semi-real dinosaur park. A few months or so I became completely obsessed with dinosaurs and dinosaur theme parks as seen in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies. Now I've started to create my own version of Jurassic Park using my dinosaur action figure collection. It's not the most realistic looking park, and it only has one animal enclosure made from some old toy army walls for now. It is a temporary display in my entertainment room, so it isn't going to be anything fancy. I don't know how many other dinosaur fans collect dinosaur toys or if anyone else likes to make up their own recreations of Jurassic Park, so I wanted to ask if anyone does this other than me. Even to this day as an adult I still have a very active imagination and an urge to be creative. That's part of why I love to collect action figures and create custom environments that fit the theme of the toys. I do this with other types of toys too, mostly military toys but lately I have lots of ideas for expanding my own toy display version of Jurassic Park. I like to think of it like how a model train collector builds model railroads. Except I build military bases and dinosaur parks, as well as matchbox car scale model towns. But this post is about recreating Jurassic Park, so I'll try not to go on too long about my other projects. If anyone else has ever set up their own Jurassic Park using dinosaur toys or maybe even a realistic dinosaur diorama, I'd love to see photos of it. I always enjoy looking at cool toy displays and / or custom-made dioramas. I know this post was pretty long, so I thank you a lot for reading the whole thing. If it's ok, I'd like to share this video of mine with you. I just made it today and a second video that continues its story today. I plan to create an entire series of Jurassic Park themed videos featuring all sorts of dinosaurs.
