Jurassic Park 24th Anniversary Special Preview

Tomorrow is the twenty-fourth anniversary of Jurassic Park, so here's a preview of what's to come. I'll be posting my top ten favourite JP dinosaurs (specific individuals), and my top ten favourite scenes from the JP series. There is also going to be a brawl between my top ten favourite dinosaurs, so let's meet the combatants in order from least favourite to favourite:

 

Alamosaurus sanjuanensis

Name: Juan

Length: 70 ft

Height: 37 ft

Strengths: size, strength, can crush attackers under front legs, tail

Weaknesses: slow, not very smart

 

Stegosaurus ungulatus

Name: Spike

Length: 30 ft

Height: 12 ft

Strengths: size, strength, thagomiser

Weaknesses: slow, not very smart

 

Ankylosaurus magniventris

Name: Tank

Length: 25 ft

Height: 7 ft

Strengths: size, strength, armour, tail-club

Weaknesses: slow, not very smart

 

Albertosaurus sarcophagus

Name: Albus

Length: 35 ft

Height: 12 ft

Strengths: speed, endurance, strength, jaws

Weaknesses: not as big as some other fighters, can't use arms in combat

 

Carcharodontosaurus saharicus

Name: Mako

Length: 47 ft

Height: 17 ft

Strengths: size, speed, strength, jaws, claws

Weaknesses: not very smart, poor vision

 

Eotriceratops xerinsularis

Name: Rhino

Length: 35 ft

Height: 16 ft

Strengths: size, speed, strength, frill, horns

Weaknesses: not very smart, blind spot

Spinosaurus aegyptiacus

Height: 18 ft, 27 ft (sail)

Strengths: size, strength, claws, semi-aquatic

Weaknesses: sail, poor vision, weak bite, light build

 

Tyrannosaurus rex

Name: Tyrance

Length: 52 ft

Height: 18 ft

Strengths: size, speed, strength, intelligence, endurance, acute senses, jaws

Weaknesses: slower than other fighters, can't use arms in combat
