MemberAllosaurusNovember 24, 2016Las Cinco Muertes also known as The Five Deaths is an island 207 miles off the coast of Costa Rica, 87 miles away from the Park Island of Isla Nublar. Las Cinco Muertes is comprised of Isla Mantanceros, Isla Muerta, Isla Sorna, Isla Tacano, and Isla Pena.
Our story for the time being will take place on the eastern half of Isla Sorna. The tall yellow grass stretches as far as the eye could see..till it meet the more temperate rain forests that surrounds the tall grass border. Within the Tall Grass resides an abandoned human village filled with rickety buildings, unpowered electrical fences, and decaying cars. Tigerfang, a male Velociraptor antirrhopus nublarensis stalked it's creator's village. He remembered this place as far as he could remember, this was his birth place where his mother's pack once brood here but it hasn't been the same since the humans reappearance all those years ago. Tigerfang remembered seeing his mother, farther, and uncle leaving the nest to chase three humans. His mother and farther chase two female humans in a rusty old shed while his uncle chased a male human into a gas station. Tigerfang moved closer to the shed, he saw where his mother and father were digging, he ventured around the shed and saw where the humans have also dugged before walking around the shed further to where he saw the mangled skeleton of his father, impaled by a spike. Tigerfang hooted sadly before leaving his old nest for good.
Tigerfang like all males of his subspecies, he sports a tiger stripe pattern with a white underneath in contrast of his western counterparts who are grayish purple with a red line streaking from there eye down to the tip of their tail and pronounced crest knob in the front of its eyes. Tigerfang looked over and spot a few females of his subspecies which were a plain dark gray in stark contrast with the western subspecies's bone white with gray stripes and like their males they have a pronounced crest near their eye. Tigerfang remembers these other raptors, he encountered them several times over the coarse of his life. He is a rather old Raptor and he has lived a long life, nearing his 20th year of life and he still has the strength to survive.
He turned away from the females as he headed out of the Tall Grass. He then made his way up a hill before turning back to the tall grass below, his home. He fears that this may be the last time he would ever see it again. the call of prey refocused attention back to the deeper recesses of the jungle.
^This new series is phenomenal. Brings back memories of the JP films

Firestreak defiantly left the safety of his nest, his peers who where brooding their eggs, just stared at him bewildered to were the young velociraptor was going before ignoring him completely as he grew further away from their senses.
Firestreak decided to follow the hunting party's scent trail, his light protofeather covering protected his skin from dripping tree water as he occasionally shakes himself dry if his protofeathers gets too soaked.
Several small herbivores were grazing on the jungle ferns, among them were Dryosauruses and Homalocephale. Firestreak was very excited, his very first hunt.

Junior returned from the coastline back in to the Jungle, he traversed the all too familiar forests and game trails he has known ever since he was an infant. Being a middle-aged Tyrannosaurus, he was lucky enough to even survive this long since he has competed with many large and larger carnivores that his genus wouldn't naturally be fighting against. But despite of all that he survived against Allosauruses, Carchardontosauruses, Suchomimuses, Spinosauruses, and Giganotosauruses but the genus he dislikes getting into confrontations with is another Tyrannosaurus.
Junior picked up the scent of his favorite prey, Parasaurolophus and Lambeosauruses. He liked hunting hadrosaurs since they lack Clubbed or Spiked tails like Ankylosauruses and Stegosauruses or a Kentrosaurus, they lacked a horny face like the Triceratops or a Torosaurus, or they aren't as massive as a Sauropod like Brachiosaurus Mamenchisaurus, or a Apatosaurus.
Junior carefully watched the hadrosaurs graze, waiting for the opportunity to strike. He stayed within the trees, his skin coloration and patterns allows him to blend in with the trees as the hadrosaurs graze in the yellow meadow. A sub-adult Parasaurolophus ventures to close to the forest as it chews the tasty pink flowers. Junior without provocation lunged out of the trees, his massive jaws crushed the young parasaurolophus's skull. He threw down the herbivore's lifeless carcass to ground, he released his jaws from the parasaurolophus's head as he moved his jaws to the herbivore's stomach. With one bite, he spilled his prey's guts; Blood, Intestines, and Bladders oozed out.
The scent of blood would naturally draw other theropods to his kill. Several Nublar/Eastern Velociraptors apparoched Junior's kill, Junior has meet their kind before despite their small size in comparison to him, they can be more than a nuisance. Junior roared at them but the Nublar Raptors snapped back and hissed, Junior trotted over to frighten them off but another group of Nublar raptors leaped on to the freshly kill parasaurolophus carcass.
Enraged Junior bit into one of the Velociraptors and swallowed it whole, the Nublar Raptors all turned round furious and began to leap on to Junior all while biting his hide. Junior was in trouble, he tried his best to bite away the ones that his neck could reach but there was too many. He thought he was done for, done in by a carnivore smaller than him but he heard the sound of another tyrannosaurus.
A Female Tyrannosaurus grabbed the velociraptors were Junior couldn't get and slung them into the trees. The remaining velociraptors quickly leaped off of Junior as they retreated. The female licked Junior's wounds and nudged him up off the ground.
Tarnoc signaled his fellows to zerg rush the blind Plateosaurus, they leaped on to its back, biting and tear at its flesh. The Plateosaurus made its last groans as its herd abandons it to its fate. Tarnoc turned his head as a strange smell caught his attention, the clouds began to make crackling noise as thunder was fighting itself in the clouds. The wind picked up more as rain began to pour down hard and like a showering wall it moved across the great open water before it hit the beach.
Visibility was decreasing rapidly as Tarnoc attempts to make it back to his pack, the wind was blowing harder on him then it was mere minutes ago before he felt the water crash into him. Before he knew it he was submerged, he desperately swam to the surface as he hoots for his packmates. The heavy winds and tide pushes him further away from the shore. Tarnoc again tries hooting for his packmates, he heard some of them calling back, he attempts to swim to their vocal location but something big fell into the water causing Tarnoc to be pushed further away; the big thing approached Tarnoc, it was a fell tree.
Gar growled gutturally as he confront this suchomimus. He didn't mind the rising water, both Spinosaurus and Suchomimus are comfortable in the water. The Suchomimus flayed her arms out as she starts grunting her territorial display but the Gar wasn't intimidated, he roared at the Suchomimus before attempt to slash at her with his claws. But the Suchomimus wasn't no push over, she snapped her jaws at the larger spinosaurus. A large wave crashed upon these two beasts as they continue their squall.
The female Suchomimus bit the Gar's hand as she started to pull him and herself closer to the open water. Gar raised his free claw and slashed at the Suchomimus's eye, she released her grasp on his hand, Gar charged at the suchomimus. The Suchomimus made a break for it towards the open water, Gar roared triumphantly as the suchomimus left his gaze, now he turned his attention back to the jungle; to rest.
I'm coming back to finish the story, any suggestions?
Unaware of the storm that ravaged the northwest coasts of Isla Sorna and Isla Muerta, Tigerfang caught the scent of a herd of dryosauruses just north of where he was standing. He carefully made his way into the tallest underbrush as he stalk the relatively peaceful dryosaurs. The Dryosaurs were just grazing on the nearby ferns plants while their sentries we constantly on the look out.
Thunder could be heard echoing in the sky above, rain lightly fell upon the forest before it came down hard. The Dryosauruses were alarmed, Tigerfang took his chance to attack, the Dryosaurus sentries groaned and chirped as the Velociraptor leaped out from his hiding spot and tackled one of the sentries. With a quick bite to the dryosaurus'es neck, the other dryosauruses quickly stamped away looking for shelter from the rain and predators.
The blood's scent was masked by the rain fortunately allowing Tigerfang some peace but something else was drawn to the carnage. A frightened stegosaurus that was spooked by the thunderstorm came trotting by and Tigerfang was in his direct path.
Firestreak bolted out when he saw the Dryosaurus and the Homalocephale herds being disturbed. Among the fleeing herbivores was alone tiger stripped Velociraptor and a charging Stegosaurus. Firestreak reacted fast, he managed to catch up to the stegosaurus before leaping on to its ribs. Firestreak dug his sickle shaped toe claw deep into the stego's thick hide. The stegosaurus groaned as it stopped short from trampling Tigerfang. The stegosaurus jerked side to side attempting to shake off the darker velociraptor.
The stegosaurus stomps furiously into the soft ground, its trumpeting groans could be heard throughout the jungle. Firestreak attempts to hold on but was soon dislodge from the angry stegosaurus, he hits the wet muddy ground with an audible splash. The stegosaurus was still thrashing about groaning in pain. Tigerfang hissed at the stegosaurus to get its attention before Firestreak did the same, both velociraptors flare their forearms to intimidate the injured stegosaurus into fleeing. The stegosaurus turns around, Tigerfang takes some steps back but Firestreak bolts forward. Tigerfang immediately snaps his jaws at the younger velociarptor, Firestreaking glances back at Tigerfang to bellow a hiss before snapping his head back only to see the stegosaurus wasn't retreating... it was readying its thagomizer to strike at any theropod dumb enough to attack it.
Tigerfang twitches his eyes to signal firestreak away from the stegosaurus. Firestreak not understanding Tigerfang's eye signaling, just gives him a quizzical stare. Firestreak turns his head back to the stegosaurus then back at Tigerfang before realizing the gesture. The two very different velociarptors subspecies retreat into the forest.
I need to make banners for each chapter for this series
PHEW, finally caught up! Nice!
If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.
The two tyrannosauruses have since retreated under the forest canopy to escape the downpour, lightning slashes across the midnight sky as its thunderous roar followed soon afterwards. The trees began to sway side to side as the rain intensifies. Junior growled as a tree branched fell on his massive snout, his companion the female Regina gently removes the branch.
A herd of scared hadrosaurids in forms of Parasaurolophus and Corthyosaurus came stampeding through the redwood forests, fleeing from something big. Junior slowly rose to his feet, it has been many years since he last seen these hadrosaurids in such large groups. An all too familiar roared echoed through the forest, Regina rose to her feet as a large theropod dinosaur with a huge sail on its back approached the wary tyrannosauruses. It was the spinosaurus Gar and he was hungry, he sniffs his new surroundings; his nose catches the scent of an all too familiar foe. Gar didn't like tyrannosauruses, not only did he compete with their kind for food but Gar being the only member of his kind to have been resurrected, saw everything as a potential food source.... including his former handlers.
Junior and Regina remembered this creature, Gar was a glutton; he would eat more than any other large predator and even kill when he is not hungry. Junior step forward to roar at the spinosaurus, Gar roared back in confidence before Regina started roaring at Gar. Gar swung his head towards the female, giving Junior the opportunity to strike first.
