Why The Lost World: Jurassic Park is the best JP sequel

Characters
TLW: The characters in this movie are good. Jeff Goldblum is back, and I liked the antagonists of the film. Kelly can be annoying at times but other than that, she's okay. Julianne Moore's acting as Sarah Harding was great. I liked Nick because he's Vince Fawn, and Eddie faced his death like a man.
JP3: The characters are idiots. Amanda Kirby just screams her ugly face off on a dinosaur infested island. Her husband is better, but he's a liar. The mercenaries sucked because they died within the first 45 minutes of the movie. Billy was likeable at first, but he stole Raptor eggs, then redeemed himself. He's my second favorite character. Eric somehow manages to survive eight weeks on an island full of dinosaurs. I don't get that. Alan Grant is the only good character, but he's not as good as he was in the first film.
JW: The characters are...eh. Owen was awesome, and not just because he's Chris Pratt. He motorcycles with the Raptors. Claire was annoying at first, but she changed. And let's be honest, she let out the original T. rex! Gray was reminiscent of Tim from the first film. Zach was a jerk at first, but he changed.
Winner: TLW
Unlike JP3 and JW, the characters weren't idiots. They didn't make any bad decisions and were generally likeable.
Plot
TLW: The plot is simple: A group of hunters go to another island to take dinosaurs to their zoo in America while another group goes to get a photo record of the animals. They decide to stop the hunters while on the island, but the two groups must cooperate to survive.
JP3: This has a stupid plot: Dumb guy takes a kid parasailing near a dinosaur infested island. They get stuck and the kid's parents trick the guy from the first movie into going to the island. They must get off the island.
JW: This has a simple plot like TLW: A new park is built, but a hybrid dinosaur escapes and throws the park into chaos. The humans try to destroy her and must get off the island.
Winner: TLW
TLW had the most original plot. JW is similar to the first film, but it was good. JP3's plot involves dumb characters and an excuse to go back to the island.
Action Scenes
TLW: There's a lot of action in this movie: hunting dinosaurs, the dinosaurs escaping, a T. rex in San Diego, etc. The action scenes are good.
JP3: Just mindless CGI dinosaur action.
JW: There's a lot of carnage in this film, and the action was great. The ending fight was especially awesome, mostly because of the T. rex from the first film.
Winner: JW
If it weren't for that end fight, TLW would've won this round. Other than that, TLW had better action.
Dinosaurs
TLW: The dinosaurs in this movie were great. We got to see male variants of some of the dinosaurs, like the T. rex and Raptors. The herbivores, specifically Stegosaurus, finally got some action. There was also a family of three T. rexes!
JP3: The dinosaurs were the best thing in the movie. But they messed up. The most iconic dinosaur, the T. rex, is utterly useless and dies in 30 seconds. The Brachiosauruses look creepy (and they were majestic in the first film). The Spinosaurus was sick, but nobody can hear it coming even though it's larger than the earth-shaking T. rex. It also breaks a giant metal gate, but can't break through a small door a few seconds later.
JW: I enjoyed seeing the dinosaurs. The new Raptors were badass, and are my favorite Raptors in the series. The hybrid, Indominus rex, was awesome. But none of the dinosaurs compare to the T. rex, especially because she's the same one from the first movie.
Winners: Tie Between TLW and JW
In TLW, there were more herbivores, male dinosaurs, and a T. rex family. JW had better Raptors, a hybrid, and the return of the original T. rex.
Conclusion
Winner: TLW
TLW, surprising as it seems, had the best characters and plot. JW almost took the spot as the best JP sequel, but it has its flaws.
