Isla Nublar: A New Era- Chapter 2

     SPOILERS AHEAD

     It’s been three days since Blue teamed up with Rexy to take down the Indominus rex. Three days of lonely wandering throughout Isla Nublar. Hunting has been a challenge, but as Blue begins to stalk a small group of Gallimimus- from the old and new park- she picks up the scent of something else…

     After following the scent for a couple minutes, Blue finds the largest meal she’s ever seen- a valley full of dead Apatosaurus! Grunting with excitement, she runs towards the closest one, and finds lacerations covering the entire body, along with multiple bite marks. Blue begins to get horrible flashbacks to the events a couple days ago, where the rest of her pack died. She desperately tries to forget the events and move on, but she can’t.

     Eventually, Blue regains focus and begins to eat the Apatosaurus. After she fills her stomach, she sleeps for a bit. Then, she decides to explore the island a bit. Walking around the valley (and scaring the herbivores living there), she finds a large hole in the perimeter fence. Thinking for a bit, Blue eventually decides to go through. After a bit of walking around, she hears a hooting noise. Turning her head in the direction, she sees a head rise up from the forest undergrowth. It cocks its head, and Blue steps forward. The creature, only half Blue’s size, steps back and reveals a large colorful frill. Blue walks away after this, giving the creature some space.

     After just a few more minutes, she hears familiar noises. She walks in that direction, until a face just like hers, except it’s brownish with green eyes. Blue recognizes it as one of her own species and steps back, noticing four more raptors. As Blue wonders of this new pack will accept her, the group slowly approaches her. She talks to them, and eventually she convinces them to follow her. The pack does, and Blue leads them to the field full of Apatosaurus. As she gains the group’s trust, it won’t be long before she becomes the new alpha.
