MemberCompsognathusDec-31-2014 10:15 AMScince i'm back in buisness i would like to discuss my thaughts on the jp4 trailer. I would like to hear your opinions as well, i was a bit disapointed that there were basicaly no returning charactors (ecxept for Rexy, wich is awsome!) but that wasnt really in the trailer. For the trailer itself, these i'm sure have been talked about before. Hear me out!
THE CGI- i know that the cg you see in the trailer isnt the cg you will see in the movie, but d*mn! i think they should have waited just a bit longer. the point of a trailer is to get people to see the movie. Crappy cgi doesnt make me want to go see the movie.
THE ACTING AND DIALOG- The crap cg fest is forgivin, because thats not going to be in the actual film. But that dialog, "What kind of dinosaur are they cookin' up in that lab?" that, probably will be in the movie. Thats strike one
THE MOSASAUR- I admit that this is a minor setback, but to me the mosasaur feeding was symbolic to jurassic park three. Your probably thinking"what is he talking about?!" but hear me out. remember how jurassic park 3 thought it was cool to kill off a carnivore that we love, and replace it with a bigger badder carnivore? Well i know i don't. But what this scene is showing me is trying to make a carnivore more fearsome/likable by having him kill off another carnivore. Not that a sharknado leftover has been in any jp film. But the genral public loves/fears sharks.
THE RAPTORS-...Now up until this point of the trailer i had some hype still left in me, but once i found out about the trained raptor security gaurds... that is just the stoopidest thig that i have ever seen in a jurassic park film. Remember how dangerous the raptors were in the first movie? How cautious the people were with there security? How they felt when the three raptors escaped? Well if you do than you can forget all of that because your not going to need any security precautions for your freindly neighberhood raptors. THEY SHOULD ALL BE DESTROYED! Thats strike three, thats my opinions on the jw trailer. Let me here yours in the comments!
