Well, according to some on set extras, It's a Spinosaurus skeleton. I think I know what they ment by "Rex Redemption" now.
Thanks Noah I was looking at this picture today wondering what it was thanks for clearing it up looks like Spino got his ass handed to him!
The giant gate that read Jurassic Park was ruined. The gates where torn off and their where pieces of them all over the ground. Muldoon saw herbivore foot prints maybe Parasaurs or the Trike herd W
I persnally think tat it's a mounted skeleton in the new Visitor's center. And, a rex will destroy the skeleton.
Spinosauru skeleton? as in a corpse or a model for park exhibitation?
If it was a skeletal display, we would see the light peeking through the eye sockets and nostrils, as well as the various other holes associated in theropod skeletons
If it's a dead spino, then i can slo see what they meant by "Rex redemption"

Side note, that JPlegacy forum always has some neat insight, figured i would join at some point just been far too lazy

It could just be the tip of the jaws. Also, the guy said the things that look like stairs are actually spines.
It would be very immature to have Spino in this movie and have it killed off by a T-Rex, i mean, revenge for a movie SOLEY because it made Rex Fans angry? That would be very childish indeed. I would still say that it would be childish if they made Spino knock the piss outta Rex again.
THANKS for clearing this up!!! :)

There is no point in having Rex kill a Spino, honestly.
IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DU-DU-DUEL!!!
Thank you for sharing this although I'm still having a hard time believing it...oh well, you are probably right, it's just my brain doing weird things again, haha!
Well, I feel rex destroying a mounted skeleton won't cause cause too many flame wars.
^ I agree. Same with Spino destroying a mounted Spino skeleton.

like the rex did in the first movie?

Also, here's from the JW timeline: *June, 2014 -It is rumored a "Spinosaurus" skeleton will be on display in the newly built JW.
Interesting. Another possibility is that Spino fights D-Rex and gets killed, and then Rex fights D-Rex and wins. Rex doesn't kill Spino in that situation.
Jack of all trades. Master of none
Yea but it makes out T-Rex to be the better fighter because the Spino gets killed by the D-Rex.
S. rex, what if Spino and Rex tag-team the D. rex in the end of the movie, but the diabolus gets in a nasty shot on the spino towards the end of the fight, but that allows the rex to kill the diabolus?
Here, have a waffle (-'.')-#
Great to hear the controversy covered. Jurassic Prk Legacy is a great sight.
Ian Malcolm: No I'm, I'm simply saying that life - uhhh - finds a way.
Isnt that like saying hey rexy u didnt beat the live version heres a dead version! Be careful not to lose!
That would be a bit of a piss take. Saying that though, i would still love to see a display skelaton in the new visitor centre haha would be class. But not rex destroying it, plus too repetativ
rex does need revenge but i can see y ppl say its childish lol
maybe an alternative would be for the D-rex to kill it, then trex kill the d-rex then that way spino loses to a nonexistant species and rex beats it . No debates! Thats my ideal situation
