Well lately these days all that people have been talking about is war. Everyone is saying they have this and that, you can't have this and that, etc.

So, I decided to make a topic to try to just get completely away from that topic.

SO, let's just pretend that in this topic there is no war coming. It's just a normal day in the Jurassic World Forum...

---

Now that that has been cleared up, I said I would do a special for my 1000th post. Well, I thought I would do TWO specials. So I have decided to make a topic about how we all came regulars here and why we came here.

So here is my story.

The year was 2013. I had re-watched Jurassic Park a while ago from that day and forgot how much I loved dinosaurs and Jurassic Park. So, I decided to go read the book versions. And I LOVED them.

For the second time in my life, I felt the amazing feeling of how it was like to read books so good you literally could not put them down until you finished reading them.

I wished to find a place where I could share my love and appreciation for the Jurassic Park Franchise. I tried school, but most people told me that supposedly "No one cares for the dinosaurs anymore" and another guy said "Nobody likes Jurassic Park.

Let's just say I wouldn't call those people the smartest. Of course, the girl never even researched about dinosaurs nor did the guy ever even WATCHED Jurassic Park.

Idiots. That's the word that comes to my mind when I think of them.

Well I was sad, to be honest. Here out of a class of 49 people (I went to a Private School) I was the only one who was interested in Dinosaurs and Jurassic Park.

Well, I just went back to normal but still sad that these people could say these things about these creatures and such a memorable, nostalgic, and cinematic masterpiece.

Well I then remembered that my sister said they were going to make A Jurassic Park 4 but it always kept on getting canceled.

So I went to Google and typed in "Jurassic Park 4"

One of the first results was:

Jurassicpark4-movie.org. For those of you who don't know, there was a time when this site was called Jurassic Park 4.

I clicked on it.

There was not much info about the movie, but on the side were these things called "Latest JP fan discussions." One of them said "T-rex vs. SOme dinosaur" Others said chapter 5, a bunch of stuff.

On the top of the page said "Become a Fan."

I clicked on it and it took me to a site called Scified.

So I registered on August 17, 2013. I read more and more and decided to make my first discussion. I finally found a place where I could express myloe, appreciation and respect for Jurassic Park, dinosaurs, and the books.

My first discussion?

Utahraptors in JP 4?

Of course, I spelled Utahraptors wrong. I made it that discussion because At that time I had some special interest in Utahraptors. the first person to reply and welcome me was x_paden_x.

And for that I thank you. From there on I just made a bunch of discussions about the books and the movies. Then after a while I stopped logging on.

Then, I emerged from the shadows again.

I started doing these topics, asking people what would they do if they could create dino hybrids, or if they could have a pet dino, and all these cool activity topics.

SOme people actually loved them. I enjoyed making them. I enjoyed reading what people had to offer for my topics.

But of course, I soon ran out of ideas. I left again.

Then yet again, I re-emerged form the shadows. Ever since then I have changed a lot. I became nicer. I got more followers. I gained more posts. I wrote my own story, I am currently writing one, I made some spoof articles with Primal King.

I plan to never purposely leave this forum again. All of guys have some sort of relation to me. Often times people have favorite users, but for me I really do like all of guys equally.

All of you guys give me more reason to stay here. I know a while ago I said I was going to leave, but the f*ck with what I said. All of you guys are important to me. As long as all of you are here, or if I DIE, I am not going to leave for a long time.

I first found it in 2013 after I was looking for news on Jurassic Park 4 (before it was renamed Jurassic World). I was searching on Wikipedia and it said the director created this site as a news site. Obviously it was wrong. I looked on it and it was interesting. I lurked on it for awhile, and thanks to this I found the Godzilla 2014 site. In November I finally joined and I will probably stay on here for a long time. Thank you for not leaving Raptor.

i remember sitting at my lap top, cruising Jurassic Park news. For the longest time, i JP4 would be a reality. After a few days, i would search JP4. Just to see if there was anything. Then one day i came across this site, and read the fights of Mr.Happy and DinoFights. A few days passed, and i decided i would sign up. Now look, one of the most recognized Dino fight writers on the site. It's all thanks to you guys..

Couldn't have done it without all y'all!

One day after going through the same thing with you and dinosaurs, I looked up Tyrannosaurus vs Spinosaurus written fight. This site came up with a result. I looked and was instantly interested. I followed for about 1/2 a year then finally joined on January 21. Happy to be here and happy to stay.

Let's see.

I looked T-Rex vs Spinosaurus (some of the wiki debates are hilarious), and found this website. It was easy enough to register an account, and I did. After that, I made my first post in a Rex vs Spino, and I posted a few plot ideas. After that, more Rex vs Spino. I originally was only going to stuck around for. Rex vs Spino, but it lasted so long (and I gained so much popularity) that I decided to stick around after the debates were settled. I started writing my stories, and got more followers.

Must be doing something right, I've got more than 50 followers.

Yes. When I started, I didn't know how to post a discussion (nor could my ego take asking how). I gained a few followers though (must be doing something right if the Admin is one of the first to follow you). I remember back when DinoFights was starting out (when he didn't follow many people amd had tons of followers), and I felt honoured when he followed me (at that point, I might have had 5).

Now I have 25. I hope I get more soon. And I hope to become a moderator very soon actually.

And I have 52. Good luck with that (not trying to sound sarcastic). I was just signing in for a few minutes (what are the odds? I leave and the thing is posted five minutes later).

I guess you could say I became a "regular" by accident. I was simply looking about online during my coffee break and, lo and behold, there was a site called SciFied. It seemed compelling! I'd never been a part of a community like it, thus I felt it would be a neat experiment to see what kinds of people are here and if they truly share in my passions for good science fiction! As it turns out, this girl was very pleasantly surprised! :)
