MemberCompsognathusApr-19-2014 4:05 PMWith all the exciting news coming about Jurassic World as it has started filming, I think this is probably one of my favorites pieces of news. It's really had me wondering if this was going to happen or not, and it makes me happy to finally have a solid answer. John Williams is in fact returning to do the score for Jurassic World, and is currently working on it according to my source and Jurassic Park Legacy.
John Williams has done the score for the past three Jurassic Park films (although Don Davis helped in JPIII), it just wouldn't feel right if he didn't do Jurassic World. The "Superman Super Site" stated that "Williams is one of America's most prolific composers. He has won five Oscars in a career that began as an additional orchestrator for 'Carousel' in 1956. Williams is currently writing the theme music for 'Jurassic World,' due out in 2015."
What are your thoughts? Excited for John Williams return to Jurassic Park, or were you hoping for a new conductor to take the stage?
