Dinosaurs were reptiles yet they're more related to modern day birds which are warm blooded, todays modern reptiles are cold blooded, birds have feathers, reptiles don't. The only scales birds seem to have are on their feet. This isn't another feathered dinosaur debate I just simply want to know if birds are considered reptiles, I mean, if they're not mammals then what are they? Can someone give me a simple yes and no answer without going into too much detail about it? just wondering.

Well, birds are dinosaurs, and dinosaurs are reptiles. So, yes. I was at a place called Reptile Land, a zoo featuring nothing but reptiles, and they had a pair of emus. I could not figure it out and then I read the info sign. It classified them as Dromaesaurids. A kind of dinosaur. It all became clear to me then.

I think birds and dinosaurs are they're own group,ancestors:Reptiles.

Technically they're aves, which are different from mammals and reptiles. They're basically a subgroup of birds or vise versa.
