MemberCompsognathusAugust 19, 20131712 Views3 RepliesRecently, there was a 79 centimeter carnivore footprint found in Europe. That's absolutely enormous. Almost Spinosaurus sized. It very closely resembles that of Torvosaurus and was attributed to it.
Compare it to that of UCMP 137538 the Tyrannosaurus' at 46 centimeters, and that was a T. rex with unusually large feet bigger than those of Sue.
Scaling up from any megalosaur you get a bloody enormous animal over 50 feet long.
Could it be Das Monster von Minden, the 50 foot megalosaur?
Could Torvosaurus be bigger than the 12-13 meters it was previously estimated at?
A freak specimen of a theropod of some kind?
