I am curious what everyone's favourite Jurassic Park is. I think the first one will be most popular, it is my personal favourite.

Have to agree with Jetson21. While the first is uplifting and almost spiritual, I appreciate how dark the Lost World was. I like how the experience after the "accident in the park" made Ian Malcolm a much more complex character.

The first is not only my favourite JP film, but my favourite film, period. The story, the characters, the dino's, everything just comes together perfectly, not to mention the music is out of this world. Every time I watch it I feel like a little kid again. Having said that, The Lost World for some reason is the most nostalgic of the 3 to me, which is saying something considering the first 2 were directed by the king of nostalgia. I dunno what it is, but when I see that Rex stomping through that backyard, I see my wildest childhood dreams coming true. JP3 was good, suffered from a weaker story and for some reason the CGI isn't as good. Having said that, still a very entertaining film

I personally like the third, just not as much as the first or second (why couldn't Spielberg have directed that one too?).

Yeah. The third was certainly a good movie, but the first one was just a classic and beats just about every other movie out there. The second was good too. The reason why I think the third one is not as good is because the first two were based off the books. The third was based off of nothing really.

After watching TLW, I enjoyed it more now that I am older and can understand the story better.

Yeah. That happened to me when I re-watched the trilogy a few years ago.

I just haven't watched the third one yet. For some reason, I find the Jurassic Park theme very calming.

I just did a Jurassic Park marathon with some friends a little while ago. Watched all 3 right in a row, haha

It was fun. Got to stay up late, eat junk-food, and watch some great movies, haha. One of my friends had never seen any of the movies. It was a real eye-opener for him.

I have a friend that hasn't seen any of them too. He doesn't seem to care for the movies though. I'm the kind who is smart, and loves the science fiction dinosaur movies, and my friend is the type who is good in school and enjoys T.V. shows (mostly cartoons). He doesn't seem to care much for anything Sci-Fie.

He should at least watch the first one. It may be sci-fi, but it is just a classic overall.

I made him read the back of the case and he didn't seem that impressed. I had to MAKE him look at it.

Bummer. I guess it's just not some people's kind of thing.

I guess not. Well, we all have our likes and dislikes, and I respect people's opinions, but my friend is crazy.
