Jurassic Park 4 (Jurassic World) Plot Synopsis

x_paden_x I haven't read the books (books aren't my thing), but I may purchase a copy if I see one (would be one of the few novels I voluntarily read). A prequel of the series would be just as cool as adding new dinosaurs and having cool dino battles.

Ok here 's my idea i have more but i wanted to keep it short and simple: After 20 years a research team from "Ingen" finally retrieved the shaving creme "can" that had the DNA "samples" from other dinosaurs that were left behind by Dennis found in Isla Nublar's in Costa Rica. John Hammond is dead, and his children inherited his business. Mean while Dr. grant is at Louisiana University as a paleontologist, when interrupted by a former friend "Dr. Ian Malcolm.'' They're both disbelief at a picture they see and read on the newspaper about "Ingen" team recover Dino DNA but need other files for further analysis to complete and recreate live dinosaurs for real life testing. Dr. Grant and Malcolm set a team with old friends from the past to reunite and retrieve missing data that "Ingen" is after. But soon Dr. Grant and his team go on an adventure with T-Rex, Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus and other Unknown dinosaurs. After retrieving the missing files, they're are destroyed by Dr. Grant. A record of an earthquake in Costa Rica hits and shifts the earth axis, were it causes most of the population including dinosaurs to be extinct. The only remains were baby Dino eggs hatching near a tree trunk.

x_paden_x I do like comic books. Are they long? Jhawkins1987 I don't know if they would put a teaser at the end of the credits. I am going to see the movie on Friday (don't know if I'll be able to see the whole credits to see about a teaser)

X-paden-x U r prob right lol and yh i dont blame u for not waiting but i bet u do :p I would like to see joseph mozello replay his role as TIM. Reasons being is that his knowledge from a young age , in the books, and in the film would be significant for a path of a story. For example him becoming a student paeleontologist under grants wing like billy did in JP3! It would make sense based on Tims character, n could be good to have him as maybe a lead role or even one of . I dont think ariana (lex) would reprise her role due to her being a professional artist nower days. But u never know, she did state in an interview that she hasnt seen a script so couldnt tell us. As for special effects, i have a feeling the new film wont use many if ANY of stan winstons genius machines ( RIP stan ,legend) But this may give the designers more freedom like king kong where the battle scene with kong n the 3 rexes was absolute quality, and genius! As long as the green screen is better cos im done with naff background effects . !!! Would u guys agree, with the latter if anything ?

How about this. Following Hammond's death Grant, Sattler, Malcom, and the kids. All get together for the funeral. Hammonds last wishes were for his remains to be put on the island. So they all take get on a ship and set out for the island. While on the way there Hammonds grand son is watching a video of his grand father talking about another island or a secret facility on one of the original islands. (we only get a glimpse of the video but dont know the full detail yet.) Then when they finally reach the island and are getting ready for Hammonds funeral service they are attacked by some large marine dinosaur. Everyone that survived the attack flees to the island. Everyones panicking once the reach the shore. But then start to head toward the visitors center from the original film. Once there they start searching for supplies. Then while everyones out gathering what they can Hammonds grandson confronts Grant saying i know how to get us off the island. And tells him about the secret facility that his hammond told him about. They set off to the facility in one of the original Ford Explorers. (But on the way the are being pursued by some strange looking dinos. Once they reach the facility they find a test lab. Were they find out they were genetically combining the dino genes reulting in the Chaos Theory) or (they get to the facility and find plans for an underwater park. There is a sub marine inside the facility they get in and take the sub through an underground tunnel that leads them to out of the island. Right before the credits they see these giant cages with some of the marine dinos in them but one is broke open.

Should be new nocturnal dinos ppl getting killed one by one in the dark like THE DECENT. Scare the shit out of ppl haha Plus it can by like them dinos on JP:the game That hunt them ay night ! Would make sense. Underwater dinos r too big in my opinion as cool as they r , n apart from having an underwater facinity ( which would disclude all land dinos btw the whole film probably) it would then need to be big enough for a whale sized animal to break in to then cause havock n make a film out of it. Summin that big ud stay out the water completely , ud never go on a boat if it would eat that aswell n sink it! I think it COULD work if it was as u said like a discovery at the end of a film and the cast a mirracuously lucky to have a sub marine piolot on board lol it could be before it finished so it CONTINUES ... Like a cliff hanger To the next film, so the trilogy is in 3 parts as apposed to the characters landin nearly dying then rescued like the previous 3. If tht happens DAKOTA u could be on to a winner. If not making and underwater monster the main dude i think would be pants

If you remember in the first one the fat man that stole the dino dna samples was killed and the barbasol can that had them was washed down and covered by mud. since Ingen is broke a rival company could be doing some sort of work on isla nublar and find those samples and there is a number of plots that could come from that.

Had a good read through ya link! I loved the attention to detail that i have NEVER noticed untill now about the T Rex eye dilating when lex shon the flash light in its eye. Had to look at the clip again to see it to believe it lol Was a great touch, very clever .

Hi, my name is Avery Sutton. I am 9 years old. I can't wait for Jurassic Park 4! I love dinosaurs and I would like to see these in the movie: Camptosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Struthiomimus, Yangchuanosaurus, Oviraptor, Diplodocus, Daspletosaurus, and Quetzalcoatlus. Andrea81: Some of the dinosaurs you listed are great ideas, like Yangchuanosaurus. Do you know how to say the names right? It's fine if you don't, you seem to like me when I was your age. Yangchuanosaurs is pronounced Yang-chew-an-o-saw-russ. I can't wait for JP4. A sabre toothed tiger would be unlikely, but they could try to re-open the park, and have a special ice age exhibit. Did you see the first JP in 3D? The graphics were AMAZING! IMAX 3D is great!

Everyone knows how in the first movie, Muldoon was killed, right? It did not show that he was actually killed, it just showed him getting face-munched. And there were a total of 3 raptors, but by the end of the movie, only two got killed by T.Rex. What happened to the third one? There is no proof Muldoon was actually killed. He could have fought off the Raptor, grabbed his SPAS 12, killed it, and escape into the maintenance shed before the other one realized he had escaped. So what if on JP4, the original cast returns to isla Nublar to spread Hammod's ashes, the helicopter crashes, and everyone goes into the jungle. Then later on, they are getting chased by a T.Rex, and get saved by Muldoon, who after living on the island for 20 years, knows the island and every place on it, and leads the T.Rex away. When he returns, they recognize the man as Muldoon and asked how he survived. Muldoon explains and tells them how he survived for 2 decades on the island and that he has one shell left in case of an emergency. At the end of the movie, a search and rescue helicopter arrives, they ask Muldoon if he wants to come with, and he says, "I've lived on this island for 20 years, I don't think I would fit in with people. And, I've gotten used to the place, I don't think I could adjust back to life like normal people. But some ammo would be useful." Then they leave the island, get back to the mainland, realize they forgot to spread Hammod's ashes, buy some ammo, go back to the island, find Muldoon, give him the ammo, and Muldoon says, "Didn't expect you take my request for ammo seriously" they tell him that they came to island to spread Hammod's ashes, ask him if he could do it for them, leave, and Muldoon spreads Hammod's ashes while saying, "This is where you belong, in the midst of your own creation." I would have added more, but I really could only think of the stuff involving Muldoon.

They should have all the old character from the first Jurassic park, the kids being older and the doctors much older.

@MrHappy9097 › you might be on to something.... come to think of it Have We Ever seen a death of a character in jurassic park??? just think about it in the first jp there was a convenient fern blocking his death scene???? the same with tim right when he hit the ground and alan came to his side there was ANOTHER fern blocking the way... and in TLW we never really... truly saw any of the character get killed well we did but it was only the people the rex killed and in jp 3 we did see some of the deaths but they weren't the same as the other deaths that were more sudden.... i think we may see Muldoon (or some relative of his) in the fourth movie i say this only because Muldoon is my favourite character and he didn't see his fair share of screen time (i preferred the book version of him because he was more important)

@ x_paden_x We did see a few deaths in the series. There was the guy who got scared by the snake under the waterfall in TLW (well we saw alot of blood), we saw Eddie get ripped in half in TLW (TWL was bloody for a JP).

90% of these ideas suck. Here's my pitch: RESURGENCE: JURASSIC PARK After the InGen Jurassic Park incidents, the United Nations bans the cloning of dinosaurs, and Isla Sorna is destroyed by the United States Navy and Marines, as shown at the end of Jurassic Park III. InGen is bankrupted by the San Diego incident in 1997, and soon thereafter collapses. Biosyn tries to buy out InGen, but is outbidded by the musterious Swiss Grendel Corporation. Grendel Corp. and its CEO, Baron von Drax, absorb InGen, and gain control over everything they were working on, including Jurassic Park. Biosyn is on a downward slope and in need of a kickstarter when Grendel, over time, establishes itself as a major contendor in the genetics market. This threatens Biosyn's recent surge, and positions the company on said downward slope. In result of this, Biosyn CEO, Jeff Rossiter, decides to reopen the comapany's corporate espionage InGen operations, notably the extraction operation on Isla Nublar. Lewis Dodgson, head of research at Biosyn, is tasked by Rossiter to assemble a team to go to Isla Nublar to extract the eggs. He approaches Stanford professor George Baselton, and explains the expedition. Baselton accepts, and Dodgson promotes Biosyn biologist, and close friend, Howard King, to the elite brigade. A handful of mercenaries accompany them. The island is safeguarded by a ring of Grendel patrol boats, surrounding it, which the team must avoid. They review their, mostly-stolen, files on InGen and Jurassic Park before going to the island. The team takes a speedboat to Isla Nublar. They stop the engines, 3 miles from shore. They put on scuba equipment, and swim the 3 miles to shore. They use a map of the piping on Isla Nublar, from their stolen InGen files, to find an underwater pipe just offshore. They cut open the piping, and go through the pipes to an outlet onshore. They go directly to the visitor center laboratory. They hope for the samples they need to be there and intact. They find that the entire building has been raided by the Grendel Corporation, all of the files and DNA samples are gone. They set out into the park to get the samples. After many close calls, casualties, and engagements with dinosaurs on the island, the team retrieves the samples they sought out. They go out the same way they came in: through the piping system. While making their way back to the boat, Grendel patrols spot them, and call it in to their superiors on the mainland. The team returns, and dinosaurs are soon thereafter bred in a secure facility on the mainland. Grendel has the team followed, and find out that they work for Biosyn. They discover the location of the facility, and tip off authorities. The facility is raided, everyone there, including the members of the team, is arrested, and charged with the illegal breeding of dinosaurs. Baron von Drax and the Grendel Corporation can't be charged according to international law, because the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar were bred by InGen, and even so, before the breeding of dinosaurs was outlawed. There is a clear setup for JURASSIC PARK 5, when it is revealed that Grendel has been breeding dinosaurs ever since they got control of Isla Nublar and InGen. 5% of these ideas suck. Here's my pitch:

(Nock nock) ...Errrrrr hello....... U do actually have dinosaurs ....in ur err DINOSAUR movie right ??? Hello??? (knock knock)!! I like the whole intro of the characters from TLW novel being brought in from bioSyn , but the movie plot would be way too behind the scenes , great for us !!! but would absolutly suck for averge fans that just wanna see a family dino movie. Too in depth. That sort of thing i found is good in TV series ! Like lost n terra nova. Character backgrounds etc( which i love) but not alot would happen in two n half hours in a cinema.

@mrhappy @ x-paden-x Didnt the third raptor get locked in the freezer ?!?? There were two in the kitchen one was locked in the freezer . So i have a feelin the raptor that persued the ppl and tried gettin in the computer room before lex fixes the security system was the other one from the kitchen that head butted the unit n was on the floor. That one then jumped in the room through the window, n followed them goin through the seiling which brought it out to the second floor landing when they climbed on the skeletons! Now wen they get down n get grouped together another raptor comes from under the tarp from outside where the trex , later enters! That one is the one that KILLED mulldoon . As much as i want muldoon back . I think thats pretty much how it is

@MR.HAPPY but did we actually SEE them die???? yes we saw his blood flow into the water fall (the was "conveniently" there) we never see the characters "eaten" or dying (except for Malcolm who is always wounded....) just a thought for you guys to think on...

I am really excited for JP4, I have spent the last few hours turning movie ideas over in my head but most of any good ideas have already been used in the first three movies. They will have to use some new science fiction magic to make this a good movie.

There has been alot of ppl wanting marine reptiles. Im still on the fence with this one. I think it would be cool for a change. But unless they r in a park of their own i cant see it workin

Marine reptiles do seem to be a popular concept, but I don't know how to work them into the plot because I doubt Ingen would have made them. I guess a large marine reptile could take out a cruise ship and the survivors swim or float to one of the islands. I am not really sure if the door got bolted shut, but it would be cool to have Muldoon in the story. Like I said before, you never know with movies. For example, JP3, the Rex bit Spino's neck and pushed it around a bit and Spino won. The first movie was great in 3D, didn't see if the door bolted shut or not (would it not have to lock manually from the outside for safety reasons, and Tim did not lock it if that is the case).

Yh lex drops the pin in which stops the raptor from opening the door. Cos obv we no they can in the film.

Now that I think about it, Lex did lock the door. So now the other raptors remain. So Muldoon fights off the raptor and escapes before it regains consciousness 5 minutes later (LOL).

I wonder if the Jurassic Park telltale game sheds us any clues to what will be in the 4th film. In the game they is an unfinished marine exhibit and inside lies the Tylosaurus (underwater dinosaur). Maybe this creature has escaped and has been spotted terrorizing the ocean recently? Here is some more info about it. http://jurassicpark.wikia.com/wiki/Marine_Facility However, I do know that there is absolutely no mention of any marine exhibit in the book so maybe they stray away from such a thing. We do know there will be a new dino. But maybe the poisonous night dino from the telltale game is the "dino every one will be afraid of when you turn off the light"... Who knows. The speculation goes on!

HAMMOND IS DEAD PEOPLE! I keep seeing people say "Hammond, Grant, Sattler, and Malcom are back" well, Hammond's dead, Grant would be redundant (yet still enjoyable), Sattler's got a husband and a kid, and Malcom already has his own movie. However, i don't think they should eliminate the familiar cast, but maybe the main characters could be some of the side characters in the past. Just an idea, hope people agree with/like it. P.S. @huenga , I do agree with the late night radio show idea, and I also like the aquatics idea, just not the friendly dinos part. Plus, most people didn't like Wu, and he died in the book (not saying we should stick to the book, they clearly didn't) P.P.S. I don't, However, think that the aquatic animals should be the main plot, but the should be significant. Also, lewis dodgeson isn't talked about enough in the films, I think he should be the main antagonist in this one. That's all for now, hope you enjoyed it! :)

Wait!! Everyone (even me) keeps forgetting about the Pteradons (or Pteradactles, which ever they were) that were flying to the mainland!

JP4 should be a survival horror movie... A group of people arrives on Isla Sorna, they were looking for an uninhabited place to spend their vacations and party! But Isla Sorna is obviously not the peaceful island they expected... 5 or 6 characters at most, each of them should be very well developed so that we would actually care when they eventually die (and the death scenes would be very graphic!).

I think that the story should somehow incorporate the first island and show all kinds of things that would still be there after the disaster (Nedry's Jeep still on the hillside with a skeleton in it, and the other green, red, and yellow iconic "track" car still helplessly sitting outside the T Rex paddock). And then, there should be all of the dinos from the 2nd and 3rd movies, ESPECIALLY Spino. I will be all sorts of pissed off if Spino is not in this movie. He doesn't have to be the king of the film but I'd like to see him in a good bit of it. And he better not get killed unless something just like catastrophic happens. But anyways there will obviously be the "new dino" that I have been hearing so much about too! And hopefully it's not some stupid little small dinosaur like that dumb Troodon or something, or a.....water dinosaur. Those suck too. I just find it absolutely fascinating that everything I just described about the Jeeps and the existence of those dinosaurs all happened because of one man...John Hammond. Every event in all 3 of the movies and soon to be 4, all happened because one man started it all. That is so cool to me.

I agree with "Timo Kino"...i think JP4 should definitely go the extra mile and make it scarier and more graphic. Especially all the fight scenes, and death scenes. It should gross people out and freak the hell out of them! :)

I'm tired of people going on the two islands and fighting for survival as they try to escape the dinosaurs hunting them... there is no need to be on the islands again. The idea of scientists trying to study them, and sending in the navy and all that is old. We all know anyone on the islands are gonna get eaten! Something different needs to happen....

i think i like the rumors of what its going to be. i have a lot of friends who wouldn't want weapons on dinosaurs and to be honest neither would i but i do like the idea of the raptors being sited in this like village where people start to go missing. that would be pretty awesome. imagine how cool that would be and especially with all of the original cast? it would be great. EXACTLY :)... or just to me at least

Spino186 Good idea. As far as Spino not getting killed unless something catastrophic happens, how about it is fighting T-Rex (I want the king back in the series with an awesome return), and then an earthquake creates a bunch of holes in the ground (some big, some small) and then T-Rex pushes Spino, it steps in a small hole, breaks it's ankle, and falls down a big hole (all along the coast of the island as a cruise ship sails by and gets sunk by a marine creature). Marine creatures (not technically dinosaurs) seem to be popular, I like the idea, but can't really think of any other way to add them.

WOULD YOU GUYS STOP WITH THE DINOSAUR BATTLES AND DISASTER IDEAS? THERE IS A REASON SUCH STORYLINES ARE CONDEMNED TO THE 3PM SATURDAY AFTERNOON TIMESLOT ON THE SCIFI CHANNEL.

Dude, if you're gonna blast all these other ideas why don't YOU try to come up with a good plot? Yes, some of these are over the top but we're all just having some fun here. In my opinion, dinosaur fights are always cool! I mean you have t-rex vs raptors in JP, raptors vs. raptors in TLW, and rex vs. spino in JPIII. And the disaster ideas? Yeah, I'd rather have people going back to the island than any world-wide catastrophic event. But STOP tearing down everyone else's opinions!!

They need to return to the original island! I also think that the addition of marine reptiles would be cool but... It wouldn't make any sense and wouldn't fit in With the original way they created dinosaurs which was blood that was preserved in amber inside a mosquito but there are no Mosquitos under water so the question would have to be... How did they get the DNA? I want to see the wreckage of the visitors center and the remains of the tour vehicle and the raptor pen. Also they should re visit the idea of the San Diego park. I have also thought that it would be cool if jurassic park 4 was actually a prequel and they showed all of the stuff from the point of the first dinosaur hatching to when John Hammond arrives at the dig site in the original film... That would be cool and then make the movie like 3 or 4 hours of awesome jurassic park fun!
